Mango-Iced-Tea-Recipe-Spoonfulstories

Mango Iced Tea is a refreshing drink to sip during this hot and humid weather.

Get rid of the expensive pre mixes and make Mango Iced Tea from scratch all by yourself that only takes 5 minutes to make.

I always get excited when it’s summer, because it’s mango season! And I am sure that I am not the only one who gets excited by mangoes! Like I have mentioned before in my recipes that we have this beautiful mango tree at home and it’s always raining mangoes at home during the mango season. Due to overflow of mangoes at home we always chop up and freeze a few mangoes to make them last longer.

So I thought why not use the last batch of mangoes for this season and make a refreshing drink for this hot and humid weather.

You can also make this drink and store it in the fridge for a few days, how amazing is that?

Keep a jarful of this Mango Iced Tea in your fridge and celebrate that last of fruit this mango season.

This Mango Iced Tea recipe is easy to make and is ready within 5 minutes. All that you need is a handful of ingredients, which are, tea leaves, sugar, lemon juice, mint leaves and mango puree.

Yes, that is all that you need to make this refreshing drink! If the mangoes are sweet enough, you can avoid adding the sugar.

Can we use canned mango puree?

Canned mango puree can definitely be used, but fresh mango puree is definitely better any day!

What about green tea?

For all the green tea lovers out there, black tea can be replaced with green tea. Simply make it using the same recipe but instead use green tea.

Mangoes are known to have many health benefits. They help in prevention of cancer, lowering cholesterol levels and even fight against strokes!
